WLIA 27: More Questions than Answers about Nonprofits
Since the great society it’s been policy and goals for social programming and services to be managed by nonprofit enterprises for of and by the community, but also since that time the funding, public or otherwise has been limiting or limited. I explore the issues I have with nonprofits with the coverage of how the South end grocery, the pinnacle of community enterprise or public/private partnership model, fell flat on its face. I discuss my opinions on what can be learned.
