Ep 58: Ecocide and Revolution
The last summer episode in which I talk about the various types of responses good, bad, and mixed to the climate crisis coming upon us. After checking in with the inertia of capitalism as expressed by the horror of burning Amazon: I cover examples of parts of the longer game we should be playing By covering some capitalist and anticapitalist use of permaculture, workers seizing industry, a statement on social ecology, and some direct community action. I end with some words on the then Hong Kong unrest.
It is said that Permaculture is revolution disguised as gardening, pair that with a quip that ecology without class struggle is only gardening.
